We use Philips Zoom Whitening for in chair teeth whitening and Opaleascence for take home kits. Our take home kits use the maximaum allowable take home concentration of active ingredients, optimising the results. We offer three options for teeth whitening. Option 1: In-chair teeth whitening with Philips Zoom- $399 Option 2: Take home Teeth whitening trays - $199 (The teeth whitening gel costs extra) Option 3: In-chair teeth whitening bundled with take-home kit - $599. One syringe of teeth whitening gel is included in this package. Teeth whitening is not recommended for: a. Pregnant women b. breast Feeding mothers c. children under 17 years of age. Whitening treatment is not suitable for children under 17 years of age. It is also not used during pregnancy and breast feeding.

During your consultation visit, our dentist can explain the advantages and downsides of choosing either of them or choosing to go for a combination.
What to expect during your teeth whitening appointment Dentist will need a short counsultation appointment prior to your actual whitening appointment. If you are visiting the clinic for any other reason prior to your whitening appointment, make a mention to the dentist about your wish to whiten your teeth. Dentist may be able to accomodate whitening consultation and that may help reduce number of vsits to the clinic. Our staff will provide you with the information for whitening, will also give you various options and documents. Documents will include detailed step by step procedure for teeth whitening, side effects and limitaitons of the procedure, and also the consent form to sign. Zoom whitening in chair requires one ohour to 1.5 hours of time. At the end of the procedure, our staff will give you written instructions for after care.

In Chair Teeth Whitening

What is involved?
  • During your appointment for consultation, dentist will conduct a detailed examination of your teeth and gums to determine if in chair teeth whitening is a safe and recommeded procedure for you. You will be informed about what to expect if you decide to go ahead with the procedure. Dentist will also discuss if there is any other treatment necessary prior to undergoing teeth whitening. Depending upon the package you ahve chosen,there will be impressions or moulds taken to make plaster replicas of your teeth for custom moulding the take home trays. You will be given written information on the procedure. An appointment will be arranged for actual teeth whitening to be done in the chair.
  • Visit for whitening- This appointment can be an hour to 90 minutes long. During this appointment, gums are isolated so as to prevent any whitening agent from coming in contact with them. Philips whitening gel and Zoom! lamp will be used for 3 sessions, each of them lasting for about 15 minutes times
  • At the end of the appointment you will recieve instructions for after whitening.
Take home teeth whitening
  • Dentist will conduct dental examination, and go through the procedure and what to expect. Dentist will then take impressions of your teeth.
  • During the next visit, few days later will give you trays that fit your upper and lower teeth . Fit of the trays will then be checked and appropriate strength whitening gel will be handed over to you with instructions.
  • Since the custom made trays fit your teeth really closely, the amount of gel needed to lighten the colour of your teeth is greatly reduced. Hence your mouth and gums are exposed to less amount of gel.
  • When done appropriately following all the instructions, take home whitening gives good lasting results.
